Jessica Stuart beck: Summer picture. Paradisgården is the dark red building behind the bright green tree

 

Sven Smedberg and Gunilla Brander-Smedberg, both former teachers, tie and twine words and yarns to text and textiles in their loft apartment at Paradisgården in central Arvika, a small town in the county of Värmland, western Sweden, on the forest edge of the Asian taiga. Sven writing poetry and art reviews, Gunilla weaving tapestries, mostly on ancient mythological themes. A few months every year they go to stay at the their country cottage Agios Mamas on southwestern Peloponnese.
